What items have been stolen from the NHS in the Northumbria Police Force area in the last year?
How much these items were worth?
Whether or not they were recovered?
If it is known where they ended up?
We contacted you and advised that we would only be able to supply info re items stolen where the location is recorded as being a hospital and that this would include NHS, private and other premised described as a hospital. You confirmed that you were happy to accept the information we are able to provide.
Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the Corporate Development Department of Northumbria Police. I can confirm that the information you have requested is held by Northumbria Police.
I have decided to disclose the located information to you as follows.
A search was conducted on crimes where the premises type is recorded as a hospital or where the address contains the word ‘hospital’. The resulting crimes given below are where the ‘hospital’ was the victim i.e. the property belonged to the hospital itself. The information does not include crimes where the victim/owner of the property was an employee of the hospital, a patient, contractor, visitor or a business co-located within the hospital.
Attempts to steal have not been included.
There are a number of entries for property where the value is stated as £1. This is where the exact value of the item is not known and/or we have not been informed of the value.
With the above in mind please see the below attached document, which shows hospital crimes where the date allocated was between 01/07/11 and 30/06/12.
