Residents in the west of Sunderland are invited to meet their local police and partners next week as Sunderland West Neighbourhood Policing Team hosts a series of Partner and Communities Together (PACT) meetings.

The meetings are an opportunity for local residents to come along and discuss any concerns they have around crime and anti-social behaviour, as well as hear what work has been done to tackle the issues.

Sunderland West Neighbourhood Policing Team Sergeant Ash Hopper said: "Listening and responding to the issues that affect our local residents and the concerns they have about crime and anti-social behaviour is really important to us and I really would urge people to come along.

"Even if they don't want to raise anything, it is a great opportunity to meet local officers and hear what's being done in the area by police and partner agencies."
