Appeal after criminal damage at student accommodation in Newcastle

Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to after criminal damage at some student accommodation in Newcastle.

At around 4.30am on Saturday, March 4, two concrete blocks were thrown at a glass door at the entrance to a block of flats at Rosedale Court in Shieldfield.

The doors were damaged during the incident and the person responsible then fled the scene.

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and police have now released an image of a man they want to speak to about the damage.

He was in the area at the time and may be able to help the police investigation.

The man, or anyone who may know his identity, is asked to contact police on 101 quoting log 205 04/03/17.
