Car arson in Blyth

Police are appealing for witnesses after a vehicle was deliberately set on fire in Blyth.

It happened at approximately 3.10am in the early hours of Monday, May 8, on Briarwood Road the parked Toyota car was broken into, set on fire and burnt out.

The Fire Service attended and extinguished the fire but the vehicle was destroyed.

Police are appealing for witnesses, anyone who was in the area and who may have seen or heard anything suspicious, is asked to contact them.
