Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorbike was stolen in Blyth.

It happened between 2am and 5am on Saturday, May 6, from a rear yard of an address in Delaval Crescent in Newsham.

The motorbike, a black and red Suzuki GT, was chained up and it was dragged out of the yard by offenders who were unseen.

Police are appealing for witnesses, anyone who was in the area and who may have seen or heard anything suspicious, is asked to contact them. Officers want to hear from anyone who may be offered the motorbike for sale.
