Rape in Cramlington

Police are appealing for information after a report of a rape in Northumberland.
The incident is believed to have happened some time between 11pm on Thursday, July 31, and 4am on Friday, August 1, in the vicinity of Forum Way, Cramlington.
The investigation is in the early stages and specially trained officers are supporting the 39-year-old victim.
Officers are out and about in the area in support of the investigation and to provide reassurance to the local community.
