We asked, You Said, We did

How we have addressed the local issues you raised with us.

 Inconsiderate parking outside local schools

"We asked"

We discussed with local Councillors and residents what issue was effecting them the most

"You said"

There has been an increase in inconsiderate driving and parking in and around schools particularly at drop off and pick up time.

"What we have done"

We have had extra resources policing schools in Blaydon, Crookhill, Ryton and Kepier Chare Estate to address he problem by educating motorists and raising their awareness of the issues concerning residents.  Updates of the operation will be provided at local meetings and via community messaging.  Updates will also be given online.

More importantly we will feed back to the local community directly what we have done to improve the situation and identify those causing these issues.
