Neighbourhood Priorities

The following Neighbourhood priorities relate to your area:

1. January 2017: Anti Social Behaviour

"What you told us"

Ashington Town Centre has seen an increase in anti-social behaviour particularly in the areas of the new Leisure Centre, McDonalds, ASDA, and Wansbeck Square and Wilkos Car Park. Youths congregate in groups in these locations resulting in an increase in anti-social behaviour.

"What we are doing about it?"

Ashington Neighbourhood Policing Team is tackling this issue by way of increased high visibility patrols, implementation of a dispersal order and by working with partners to educate local youths.

"Keeping you informed"

We will continue to update the website on a regular basis with incidents of note or incidents which would benefit from wider public awareness.

The Neighbourhood Policing Team at Ashington can be contacted on 101, e-mail: Ashington.NPT@northumbria.pnn.police.uk
