Police appeal after burglary in Blyth

Policing are appealing for witnesses following reports of burglary in Blyth.

A report came in this morning (Thursday, February 8) that 13 beach huts on Links Road, Blyth had been broken into. The huts have had doors and windows smashed and the contents ransacked. The Sea Urchin cafe was also broken into overnight and it is believed this incident is connected. 

The burglary took place between 4pm on Wednesday, February 7 and 8am Thursday, February 8. 

Enquiries are ongoing but police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information about the incident to get in touch on 101 quoting log 149 08/02/18 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
