September 2016 - Youth Anti-Social Behaviour, Oaklands Medical Centre, Prudhoe & Ponteland

“What you told us - Prudhoe”

There is an ongoing issue.  Staff and members of the public have reported problems with groups of young people, drinking alcohol, climbing on and causing damage to the premise.

“What we are doing about it”

Officers from the Neighbourhood Police Team supported by outreach workers are patrolling the area during peak times of 18:00 - 21:00 to engage with the youths and divert them to other areas and the East Centre

“Keeping you informed"

Two young people have been arrested on suspicion of damaging the premises and a number of letters have been sent to the parents of young people witnessed to be committing anti-social behaviour in the area.

“What you told us - Ponteland”

Residents have reported an increase in young people causing anti-social behaviour in the Ponteland Area.

“What we are doing about it”

Officers from the Neighbourhood Police Team are patrolling the area during peak times of 18:00-21:00 to engage with the youths and divert them to other areas.

“Keeping you informed"

A number of young people have been stopped and spoke to by members of the Neighbourhood Police Team. Parents of those witnessed to have been committing anti-social behaviour have received a letter.

September 2016 - Speeding and parking issues in Ponteland and Darras Hall.

“What you told us”

Residents have reported that there is an ongoing issue regarding speeding and parking in Ponteland and Darras Hall  which is more prevalent at the start and end of the school day with parents attending the area and parking inconsiderably.

“What we are doing about it”

Officers from the Neighbourhood Police Team patrol this location together with Civil Enforcement Officers at critical times during the week to engage with motorists and educate them regarding ongoing issues.  The matter has also been raised as an issue with local councillors and other partner agencies to identify alternative solutions to the problem.

“Keeping you informed”

This is an ongoing issue in Ponteland and Darras Hall where Police have engaged with a number of motorists in the area, to educate, advise and enforce where appropriate.

September 2016 - Speeding and parking issues in Stocksfield & New Ridley Village.

“What you told us”

Residents have reported that there is an on-going issue regarding speeding and parking in Stocksfield & New Ridley Village.

“What we are doing about it”

Officers from the Neighbourhood Police Team patrol this location to engage with motorists and educate them regarding ongoing issues.  Members of the local Community Sppedwatch (volunteers who assist Police) regularly attend the area with the interactive speed-gun and any vehicle caught breaching the speed limit receives a letter.

“Keeping you informed”

This is an ongoing issue in Stocksfield & New Ridley Village where police have engaged with a number of motorists in the area, to educate, advise and enforce where appropriate.
